My mother, Lupe, and her husband, James Lem my stepfather, experienced an extreme loss like many others in the Pacific Palisades fire. Their salon business, Palisades Hair Salon, was burned to the ground on Tuesday, January 8th. Lupe has been a long-standing hair stylist in the community for 40 years. They plan to use the donations to rebuild their business and replace all the contents lost in the fires.

I'm Victoria Chavez, daughter to Lupe and stepdaughter to James Lem. I currently live in Portland OR.
