Back in 2019, my family and I adopted Luna, along with her sister Lucky. Originally, we only intended to adopt Luna from the foster home. But when meeting the litter, we ended up taking home two. Luna and Lucky. Over the years, we have been fortunate enough to not have any health issues between the two of them.
However, within the past few months, Luna has developed bladder stones. After multiple vet appointments and many treatment plans, it’s been decided the next step is surgery as she was unable to dissolve them herself. The process is called a Cystotomy. The bladder is cut open and the stones are surgically removed. With the final fees, the low total is $2,760.85, the high total being $3,226.45. The costs from the previous medications, along with the necessary diet changes, are already very costly. While Lunas condition is not terminal, she is suffering and will only continue to get worse. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
