Help Me Bring My Dog Luna Home – From Detroit to Bogotá

Hi, my name is Nicolas, and I need your help to raise the funds necessary to bring my dog with me to Colombia.

Luna is a 2-year-old German Shepherd and a deeply important part of my life. I’m moving back to Bogotá, but the process of taking her with me has turned out to be far more complicated than I expected.

The flight I have includes a connection in another city, and the airline for the first leg of the trip does not allow large dogs to be transported in the cargo hold. I’m also not allowed to register her separately at the connecting airport, and I can’t change my ticket because it was arranged by a third party, not purchased directly by me.

The only option left is to use a specialized pet transport service to get Luna safely from Detroit to Bogotá. This includes ground or air transportation, an airline-approved crate, veterinary certifications, international paperwork, and various fees. The estimated cost is over $2,000 USD—an amount I simply can’t afford right now.
