Luna Prejean is a much-loved, hard-working, valuable member of our Humpin’ Hannah’s family, having been an integral part of our family for over 7 years. Recently, Luna received some very difficult medical news. Over a year ago, Luna’s dominant hand suddenly went numb. This numbness spread to her entire right arm, right torso, and left hand. Over the past year, she sought treatment and answers.

As we all know, for those without comprehensive insurance, getting necessary medical treatment can present many hurdles. For Luna, it has been a costly process; emotionally, physically, and financially.

Finally, last week, she received some answers but not what anyone would want to hear: Luna has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

The weight of getting to this point will be minute in comparison to the future of living with Multiple Sclerosis. As a currently uninsured individual, the potential financial burden of this disease is staggering.

We are asking for whatever you can spare to help offset the financial burdens our beloved Luna will face as a result of this diagnosis.
