Dear family, friends ,and extended community that this may reach. Our dearest friends Danielle and Chad Evans received earth shattering news last week in regards to their 4 year old daughter Luna’s health. What they thought could be just headaches and vomiting turned into a parents worst nightmare. Luna was diagnosed with a mass on the cerebellum of her brain. She immediately went into surgery to have a placement of a drain for hydrocephalus, due to the mass blocking her ventricles and causing the fluid collection to build in her brain. They allowed her brain to rest a few days, and today Monday, July 7th she had her brain surgery. While the surgery went well, and Luna did great, they were not able to remove all of the tumor. Luna will have to receive additional treatment. The official diagnosis came back today as a Medulloblastoma, which is a cancerous tumor. We know that Luna will spend several more days in the PICU, and will have additional hospital stays.

As you can imagine, no one can be prepared for such tragic news, especially regarding their 4 year old daughter. At this time, I would like to ask for donations and any and all prayers on their behalf. Chad and Danielle live quite a distance from the hospital where Luna is, so there is a lot of traveling.They also have 3 other children under the ages of 11 at home. While they have wonderful family able to help with the children, I can imagine the stress finances can cause them all. There so much more that is yet to come, and I want them to be able to focus on Luna and their family instead of the wavering stress of finances. No amount is too small, and even if you are not able to help at this time, please pass this along and keep the entire Evans family in your prayers
