Our family is asking for support for Luna after a devastating motorcycle accident that left her with multiple serious injuries and facing a long road to recovery.

Luna suffered significant chest trauma, including multiple fractured ribs on both sides of her chest, several of which are displaced. She sustained a fracture to her right shoulder blade area, a bruised right lung, a partial collapse of the left lung, and bleeding into her chest cavity. These injuries are extremely painful and require close hospital monitoring, ongoing imaging, respiratory care, and intensive pain management to help prevent further complications.

the hospital system is Mexico is different and public health care lacks proper care so we are helping to move Luna to a private facility more up to date facility that can give her proper care

We do have some positive news, Luna has feeling in her legs and extremities which at first she had none. There is currently no reported damage to her heart, liver, pancreas, or other major internal organs, and doctors are continuing to monitor her condition closely.

Luna has already required emergency medical care, including urgent transport and specialized treatment, the financial burden on her mom is growing rapidly. All funds raised will go directly to her.

Your life can change so fast as a result of someone’s careless actions. The reckless dump truck did an illegal u-turn in front of them leaving them no chance of avoiding it. Sadly Lunas boyfriend lost his life and the driver left the scene leaving them on the road.
