Our daughter Luciana “Lulu” Larock is a bright, loving 5-year-old who has already faced more challenges than most adults. She’s preparing for her sixth open-heart surgery on July 29, 2025, to replace her mitral and aortic valves due to a leak. Lulu loves unicorns, puzzles, coloring, and playing with her brother Elias. Despite her energy being low, she still finds joy in games like memory and double trouble, and her favorite treats are Chick-fil-A and Mexican food.

This year has been especially hard for our family. Lulu’s father left his job to care for her full time, hoping to return to work when she started school. With another surgery ahead, that plan is on hold. We’re doing everything we can to keep Lulu healthy and happy, even if it means letting her indulge in her favorite foods to help her keep weight on before surgery. Keeping her isolated for her safety is tough—she misses playing with other kids, and it’s heartbreaking to see her struggle.

The funds raised will help us cover medical bills, travel expenses, and food while we juggle time between the hospital and home, which is an hour away.
