Our sweet 11-month-old Luke has been diagnosed with craniosynostosis, a condition that requires him to undergo major surgery on his skull. This surgery is essential for his health and future, but it also comes with enormous challenges for our family. Luke has an identical twin, Beau, and we are heartbroken knowing how hard it will be for him while his brother is in surgery, especially since we have to travel hours away to Kansas City for the procedure.

We have three other toddlers to care for at home — Jasper (3), Gracie (2), and Beau — which means their dad will need to take time off work to care for them while I’m with Luke during this critical time. The financial burden of travel, accommodation, and essential needs for Luke's surgery and recovery is overwhelming. We simply can’t do it without help.
