Support Luke’s Graduation Gift Fund!

This spring, my friend and brother in Christ, Luke McCormick, will be graduating from NC State with his Bachelor of Science in Forest Management. This is a milestone that deserves a truly special celebration. Luke has always had a great appreciation and interest for watches and watch-making, not just for the style, but for the craftsmanship and significance they can carry.

When Luke’s father, Joe, graduated, Luke expressed to me he was given a watch to mark the occasion, a tradition that carried great significance. In honor of Joe's memory, in addition to Luke's incredible achievement, I would love to replicate this for Luke as well with a very memorable watch. Luke has expressed great interest in one particular watch, Hamilton's Khaki Field watch, "Murph." This specific watch is a Swiss-made, high-quality replica of the timepiece from Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar." This watch holds an obvious connection to the movie, but is also Luke’s favorite type of watch to wear at the moment.

We are reaching out to Luke’s close friends and family, especially those who knew and served with Joe in the 145th, to help make this gift possible. Our goal is to raise $1,000, and any contribution is deeply appreciated. Though our goal is $1000 to cover the entire gift, any excess funds will be gifted to Luke in addition to the watch. Therefore, feel free to exceed our fundraising goal!

My goal is to purchase the watch by MAY 10th. That allows enough time for purchasing and shipping. Therefore, our aim is to reach the fundraising goal by then!
