Support Luke Pabst's Fight Against Leukemia

My name is Mariah Allen and I'm doing this on behalf of the Pabst Family, for their littlest, Luke. I grew close to them when we lived by each other in Kentucky and I got to see first hand what a sweet boy Luke is.
Conner (Luke's mother) took Luke in for a routine blood work appointment on 08/01/2024, but got a pretty scary phone call the very next day that he was being referred out to a pediatric oncologist and hematologist. Cue the worry mama Pabst started feeling, she knew in her gut something wasn't right. Conner was told to just wait for the referral to do its job and wasn't told when she would hear back from them. She gave it the weekend, but knew that wasn't good enough and she started first thing Monday morning, calling and was able to get Luke's referral in the actual doctor's hands, who told them to immediately go to the ER. This was serious. More blood work and more tests were done at their local ER in Kingman, but the doctors knew they couldn't help him, so they referred him out as well. Their scans showed low platelet counts as well and an enlarged liver and spleen. The Pabsts didn't wait, they loaded up and took a 3 hour drive to the Children's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.
Once making it to Phoenix on 08/07/2024, more blood work and scans showed an enlarged spleen, not liver, but they also found Leukemia cells. Something no mother wants to hear, your son has cancer. Wednesday, they put him to sleep for a spinal tap, but woke up in great spirits as a child could possibly be in this situation.
08/08/2024 results came back that Luke has B Cell Leukemia and is currently not considered aggressive, with a survival rate of 90%.
Luke will be spending the next 30 days as a permanent resident in the Oncology unit with Conner right by his side.
The next 8 days are going to be the most important with intensive rounds of Chemo every day.
08/09/2024 at 8:30 (MST) Luke was put to sleep to have his port put in and a dose of chemo straight into his spinal cord.
We ask you to pray heavily for the Pabst family, for their world just turned upside down, but especially Luke. That he doesn't lose his sweet spirit and his love for legos!
The ways you can help are praying for no infection for Luke, no fever and that his body handles chemo really well.
You can also help by donating, placing pick up orders for Target at Arcadia Crossing in Phoenix AZ 85018, or their wish list on Amazon. Please be aware if you make Amazon purchases, they can't use them currently, but would be so helpful once they are able to make it back home and get settled back in.
We also ask you to pray for Mia, Luke's sister. She is very close with Luke and has never been away from him for this long and this has been very hard on her as well. Eventually she will be able to be making those drives with Conner and start seeing her brother very soon. She'll have to get adjusted to this new normal too.
Please pray for Conner. As a mother to see your child in pain and are not able to take their worry and pain for your own, is unimaginable. Pray to give her strength, guidance and that this doesn't shake her Faith. She is so very strong.
Lastly, we ask you to pray for Bob. Eventually he has to make his way back to work, so this will be hard on him to be away from his family while they are going through these troubling next couple of weeks. Let's give the Pabsts family less to worry about by helping take care some of these medical bills they'll be receiving, as well as the gas it's going to take them to drive back and forth for the next couple of years.
