Hi, my name is Bash and I’m organizing this GoFundMe to help my nephew Luke.

In February, he and his wife welcomed Iris, who had to spend two weeks in the NICU after she was born. Luke spent those two weeks caring for his wife, being there with his daughter, and looking after their young boys. Because of that, he wasn’t able to go to work and his absence wasn’t covered by FMLA. As a result, he lost his job.

He’s been looking for new work ever since and doing whatever he can to cover their expenses. My family has been helping as much as we can, and community organizations are pitching in, but so many people need help right now that community services are limited. My nephew and his family run the risk of losing their current accommodation if they can’t find additional help.

My goal is to raise enough to help them cover the rent, utilities, and life needs for another month or two to give him more time to find a job in this really tough market.

If you can contribute during these tough times, even a couple of dollars, it would add up to a young family having a fighting chance of getting back on their feet. I can’t even tell you how much I would appreciate it and they would be over the moon with gratefulness.
