Hello, I'm Luke Ridgeway, 18. And I'm a victim of a cashiers check scam. I moved out of my mom's 7 months ago and things were going well for me. I needed some extra money to save up for an ad space I was going to invest in so I sold some of my vinyl's. The "purchaser" said their daughter was getting married and was going to be busy so they sent me a check with extra fees for a mover to pick it up. I had my empathies about me so I didn't feel like anything was off, after all they also gave me $80 extra as a holding fee making them seem honest. After I paid their mover The scam bared it's fangs and the entire check was refunded back to them. With the real money I gave to them in tow. Now with rent on the way and being over $2,000 in the red the only thing I can do is ask for help. I'm not very good at asking for the support of others, but I'm extremely grateful for anyone who does help in any way. Thank you.
