Lukas and I have been friends for a little over a year, brought together by our shared love of martial arts, exercise, and a wonderful group of mutual friends. In that time, I've come to know him as someone who is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh. Lukas just turned 26, and he fills his life with adventure—whether it's hiking, backpacking, or simply spending time with friends and family. He's also a huge fan of Dungeons & Dragons, and his enthusiasm for connecting with others is truly inspiring. One of Lukas’s greatest passions is drumming; he’s been drumming for over 15 years, and his love for music brings joy to everyone around him.

Recently, Lukas received the difficult news that he has type 2 testicular cancer after having to get surgery to get his testicle removed and finding that the cancer has spread. This diagnosis has been a shock to all of us, and it's a challenging road ahead for him. As he begins treatment, the financial burden of medical bills and the costs associated with recovery are quickly adding up. Lukas is facing this with incredible strength, but he shouldn't have to do it alone.
