Support Luka's Road to Recovery

On April 16th, my son Luka, 22, was involved in a life-changing motorcycle accident when a car coming the opposite direction turned left in front of him. The impact was so forceful, he was thrown through the air, something no parent should ever witness. We are incredibly grateful that he survived, but the road ahead is long.

Luka suffered chest contusions and swollen lungs, a compound fracture of his tibia and fibula in his right leg, a fractured wrist and a hairline fracture of his C6 in his neck. He is currently in recovery at home after spending 9 days in the trauma center. He is still facing a long rehabilitation and a possibility of more surgeries. His first surgery on his leg was was 2 hours and the second was 5 1/2 hours.

As a family, we’re doing everything we can to support him emotionally and physically. But the financial burden is overwhelming. Between medical bills, transportation, time off work, and the cost of ongoing care, we’re reaching out to our community and beyond for help.
