Support Lukas Hardeman’s Recovery
Donation protected
On August 21st, my 14-year-old son Lukas Hardeman was seriously injured at the Middle School he attends. While sitting in the cafeteria, Lukas made a joke to another student, who then picked him up and body slammed him. Lukas’s head struck a stool attached to the cafeteria table and the ground, causing multiple brain bleeds and severe swelling. He was rushed to Children’s Hospital in Dallas, where he underwent emergency surgery. Doctors had to remove two parts of his skull to relieve the pressure and bleeding, and Lukas is now in the ICU as we wait for more updates on his condition.
Lukas is a creative, loving teenager who enjoys drawing, gaming, and spending time with his siblings and family. This sudden trauma has turned our lives upside down. We’ve had to travel hours from home to be with Lukas, missing work and staying in hotels to support him during this critical time. The medical bills, travel costs, and future doctor visits are overwhelming, and we’re facing many unexpected expenses as Lukas begins his long road to recovery.
We’re asking for help to cover these costs and to give Lukas the best chance at healing. Any support means the world to us, and we ask for your prayers for Lukas’s recovery. Thank you for standing with our family during this difficult time.
