Support Luis’s Surgery & Recovery in the U.S.

Luis is a 12-year-old boy from Colombia who is currently in the United States for a critical leg surgery at Shriners Hospital. He and his mother, Kathia, have traveled far from home in hopes of giving Luis the best chance at recovery and a brighter future. The journey has not been easy, and they have already spent three months in the U.S., using up all of their resources to make this life-changing surgery possible.

While Luis receives the medical care he needs, Kathia is doing everything she can to support her son. However, the costs of food, housing, and clothing during their extended stay have become overwhelming. With no family nearby and limited means, they are facing significant financial challenges as they focus on Luis’s recovery.
