Support Luis's Recovery and Family

As some of you may know our dear friend and beloved youth leader, Luis, recently suffered a serious injury while doing what he loves most—serving the youth at Iglesia Vida. This accident has left him with a torn ACL in one knee, torn meniscus in both knees, significant cartilage damage, and potentially a torn PCL ligament. The road to recovery will be long and arduous.

Luis is not just a youth leader; he's a beacon of positivity and inspiration to many in our community. His dedication to serving others, especially the youth, is unparalleled. Despite facing this setback, his spirits remain high, but the financial burden of his medical expenses looms large.

The doctors have estimated the cost of Luis's surgery at $7200, and with weeks, possibly months, of recovery ahead, he will be unable to work during this time. As he focuses on healing, the absence of a steady income will undoubtedly pose challenges for him, his wife and his recently born daughters.

Como algunos de ustedes sabrán, nuestro querido amigo y amado líder juvenil, Luis, recientemente sufrió una lesión grave mientras hacía lo que más ama: servir a la juventud en Iglesia Vida. Este accidente lo dejó con un ligamento cruzado anterior desgarrado en una rodilla, meniscos desgarrados en ambas rodillas, un daño significativo en el cartílago y posiblemente un ligamento cruzado posterior desgarrado.
