Support Luisa's Urgent Endometriosis Surgery

This is Luisa M. Enriquez. She is my wife. We have a beautiful 10-year-old daughter named Ashley. She is our only child and our world. We live in Jersey City, New Jersey. Luisa is a gentle, loving, caring human, mom, and wife, who is always willing to go above and beyond for others, no matter who they are. That's the reason I fell in love with her.

However, everything changed within the last few months. My wife started having this unbearable and chronic pain in her pelvic area. This pain increased drastically, and she was forced to stop working. On May 20th, we ended up in the emergency room due to the excruciating pain and my wife lost consciousness and had to be revived in the OR. Many doctor's appointments later, she was diagnosed with Endometriosis. She was part of a rare 2% of women that the medicine prescribed caused her allergies, making the situation even worse. This illness took over our lives.

It is devastating because the medical bills started accumulating and medical prescription drugs too. Even worse, we were planning on having a second child and now that is not possible anymore due to this illness. My wife is scheduled for Endometriosis surgery and the cost is between $250,000 to $300,000 depending on the length and number of additional surgeons needed due to the complexity of her case.
