Title: Help Support My Mom, Luisa Antonetty Caro, in Her Battle Against Guillain-Barré Syndrome (A.I.D.P.)
Introduction:
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, we are reaching out for help on behalf of my beloved mother, Luisa Antonetty Caro, a 73-year-old mother, grandmother, and friend who has recently been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS). This unexpected and debilitating condition, along with a broken ankle and other medical complications, has drastically changed her life and left our family facing overwhelming medical expenses.
Her Story:
She has always been a strong, caring, and independent woman who loves to joke around.
GBS is a rare neurological disorder that causes muscle weakness, paralysis, and other severe complications. She is also managing diabetes and requires two types of insulin, both of which are costly. In addition, she is undergoing extensive physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech therapy (ST) to regain her strength and mobility.
Why We Need Your Help:
The financial burden of medical bills, therapy, medications, transportation to specialist appointments (currently seven), and full-time CNA care is overwhelming. Despite our best efforts, the costs continue to rise, and we are seeking support to ensure she receives the best care possible. Your donations will go toward:
• Medical supplies and medications (including costly insulin)
• Physical, occupational, and speech therapy
• Transportation to multiple specialist appointments
• Hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for in-home care
• Medical bills and ongoing treatments
How You Can Help:
Any amount, big or small, will make a tremendous difference in her journey to recovery. If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign with your network would mean the world to us.
Closing:
We deeply appreciate your kindness, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Thank you for being a part of her healing journey.
With gratitude,
