We are IGY6 Brotherhood. We are raising money for our brother Luis "Trigger" Borges. On the evening of June 7th, Trigger was traveling on I-78 when he unfortunately hit a black bear. The road was not well lit. Luis was not speeding and was riding responsibly. Luis was Medevac'd to Morristown Medical Center and has been in surgical ICU with a life threatening brain bleed. The doctors are confident he will recover, but currently we are uncertain, since he has been induced for the past week to allow his brain to heal. Luis's family and friends have been by his bed side 24/7 since the night of the accident. His medical bills are adding up quickly. Anything you can give will certainly help. We will also being doing a local fundraiser in Phillipsburg NJ on Sunday 7/19/26.

Somos a IGY6 Brotherhood. Estamos arrecadando fundos para o nosso irmão Luis "Trigger" Borges. Na noite de 7 de junho, Trigger trafegava pela rodovia I-78 quando, infelizmente, colidiu com um urso-negro. A estrada não estava bem iluminada. Luis não estava em alta velocidade e pilotava de forma responsável. Ele foi transportado via resgate aéreo para o Morristown Medical Center e permanece na UTI cirúrgica, com uma hemorragia cerebral que apresenta risco de morte. Os médicos estão otimistas quanto à sua recuperação, mas, no momento, a situação é incerta, pois ele foi mantido em coma induzido durante a última semana para permitir a cicatrização do cérebro. Familiares e amigos têm acompanhado Luis no hospital 24 horas por dia, desde a noite do acidente. As despesas médicas estão aumentando rapidamente. Qualquer contribuição será de grande ajuda. Também realizaremos um evento local de arrecadação de fundos em Phillipsburg, Nova Jersey, no domingo, dia 19 de julho de 2026.
