My name is Jane Colon, sister of the deceased Luis Torres, also known as Chapu. My family and I are unfortunate to say that we lost my oldest brother due to gun violence. Luis was shot in the back of his head, had no brain activities functioning, couldn’t breathe on his own, and was pronounced dead on July 14, 2024.
