Support Luis' cancer fight.

Hello, friends and family,

As some of you know, I've been fighting advanced cancer, and the journey has been nothing short of overwhelming. The future isn’t earned; we’re just lucky to experience it. At the moment, life has thrown me a curveball; my latest scans show a progression of this cancer. It is now in my lungs and my abdominal cavity. I am starting a new treatment, but the doctor said my life expectancy is about a year.

On top of the physical and emotional burden, one of the most significant burdens we are now facing is the financial weight of paying for private insurance. I have not been able to work as I 've been sick for months. When Greg retired last month, I lost my health insurance. And you all know how broken our healthcare system is. No person should be financially devastated when they get sick, but here we are. The premiums are astronomical, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with the payments.

Despite the financial strain, I'm determined to continue fighting this disease. I've been fortunate to have access to excellent medical care, but the cost of keeping this treatment is staggering.
