Luis Alejos is just 34 years old and recently found out he has GE junction cancer, a rare and aggressive form of cancer that grows where the esophagus meets the stomach. This area is critical for eating and digestion, and cancer there can cause major health problems very quickly. He’s a hardworking dad to three amazing kids Jayven (14), Remmy (11), and Aubrey (8) and right now, he’s facing the fight of his life.

Luis has always worked hard to provide for his family. But now, as his health has declined quickly, he’s no longer able to work. He’s about to begin 8 rounds of chemotherapy, followed by major surgery. To make things even harder, Luis has no family here in the state to lean on for help leaving his wife as his full-time caregiver while also caring for their youngest daughter and without an income, they’re facing serious financial hardship.

We’re asking for help to get them through the next few months to cover basic living expenses, bills, groceries, and anything else they may need as they navigate this incredibly hard time. Luis needs to focus on getting better, not worrying about how his family will make ends meet.
