We are raising money to help Lugene Driehorst pay for her life-saving chemo medicine. As many of you know, she has a gene mutation called Lynch syndrome. It is a predisposition to cancer. Due to this, she has an increased risk for colorectal and endometrial cancer, but also cancers of the stomach, small intestines, ovaries, and urinary tract. She has already lived through colon cancer once. She is a fighter!
Now Lugene has kidney cancer. The cost (co-pay) for her chemo medication is $6500. She had a large lesion removed in November, and we have been waiting on a grant from the company to help pay for this much-needed medicine. This past week, she had another procedure to make sure that there were no lesions while we wait for the chemo grant. She had three new lesions removed, and the doctor is not comfortable waiting for the grant. He was surprised to find that the growth was so aggressive. We are asking for money to pay for the medication and medical bills that are piling up. Any donation to this cause would be greatly appreciated. Please share so that we can get this medicine and get rid of this cancer once and for all!!
