❤️ Urgent: Help Our Sister Luella Get a Second Opinion for Her Brain Tumor
On Sunday, our sister Luella had a seizure with loss of consciousness. She went in for an MRI and was diagnosed with what is likely a grade 2 Astrocytoma. Unfortunately, the tumor is inoperable.
Luella is determined to fight this and wants to get a second opinion at a top neuro-oncology center — specifically Mayo Clinic and/or Vanderbilt.
She now needs to follow up with lots of doctor appointments in oncology and neurology. They also found a hole in her heart that needs to be monitored.
Because of the seizure, she’s no longer able to drive, which makes continuing to work very difficult right now.
We are asking for your help to cover travel, lodging, and medical expenses for her to see specialists who may offer more options or different approaches.
