My name is Ludwig Fries. Some of you reading this are friends, family, or people I’ve had the privilege to walk with over the years. Others may know me as a lifelong community builder, faith-driven strategist, and Founder & CEO of a AI agent powered navigation platform for the dental industry that helps people connect with the right treatment pathways, financing options, and care teams. At 68, I call this my Legacy Decade: not a season of retirement, but of expanding my capacity to serve and empower others.

Why I’m Reaching Out

Recently I was diagnosed with terminal dentition - an advanced form of bone loss. My current crowns and bridges originally placed in the early 1980s in Germany are collapsing, a lower bridge has already dislodged, eating and speaking has become painful. My voice - my main tool for building a AI startup and fundraising - is at risk.

The path forward is clear: a full dental restoration (All-on-Four implants). This is not cosmetic—it is medically necessary reconstruction that will restore my ability to eat, speak, and lead with strength.

The Urgency

The full procedure costs $60,000, and it is time-sensitive.

On October 20, 2025, I successfully completed the first (of three) major phase of treatment—a four-hour bone graft (sinus augmentation) procedure at Genuine Care Dental Clinic in Saratoga, California. This procedure was made possible because the $6,500 required for this phase was fully funded through the generous support of several dedicated donors.

What's next?

Phase 2 of 3: All-on-4 Restoration Surgery (April 20, 2026)

This phase involves the surgical placement of four titanium implants in the upper arch and four titanium implants in the lower arch creating a stable structural foundation for permanent teeth.

Successful completion of this surgery will allow me to eat without pain, speak clearly again, regain confidence and vocal strength, and return fully to mentoring and community work.

To proceed as scheduled, $28,000 must be raised by April 18, 2026.

These funds will cover surgical and anesthesia costs, post-operative follow-up care, essential living expenses during recovery, and the temporary loss of income while I am medically unable to work.
