Lucy’s Been Invited to Train with Volleyball Canada’s U16 Red & White Program

This July, Lucy Goode —a dedicated U15 volleyball player with the Seaside Volleyball Club in South Surrey, BC—has been selected to attend Volleyball Canada’s Red & White Development Camp at Brock University in Ontario.

It’s a major step: only 28 athletes from across the country are invited to this high-level training camp, and Lucy is one of the youngest. From this camp, athletes will be chosen to represent Team Red or Team White at the 2025 Canada Cup.

Why This Matters

This is an exciting opportunity for Lucy to challenge herself, train with top coaches, and grow as both a player and a teammate.

We’re so proud of her—for the way she plays, but more importantly, for who she is: She’s not just a strong player—she’s the kind of teammate who brings energy, lifts others up, and cheers the loudest whether her team is winning or struggling.

She’s worked incredibly hard for this, and we’d love to support her fully.

How You Can Help

The program costs over $3600 plus travel, and it’s more than we can afford on our own. That’s why we’re inviting our community to help us get her there.

We’re hoping to raise $5,000 to cover the full cost of camp, travel, and associated fees. Every contribution—big or small—will make a difference.
