Support Lucy's Recovery from Devastating Loss

Hello, I’m Lucy Bates and I’m 58 years old. I’m from Selma, Alabama. On April 14, 2024 my husband and I lost everything. Around 4am unknown individuals began shooting into our home and set it on fire. Blessedly my husband and I were able to escape but everything that we owned was lost in the fire. For years Selma has been plagued by gang and gun violence and sadly we are now victims of these crimes. My husband and I are both seniors and live peaceful lives.
