Our family is heartbroken. Our sweet girl Lucy only 5 years old, was just diagnosed with congestive heart failure, and the news has completely devastated us. She is not just a pet she is truly part of our family and means the world to us.

She has two babies who have been with her since birth, and they are incredibly bonded. They do everything together, sleep together, follow each other everywhere, and comfort each other constantly. Even now, they won’t leave her side. Seeing them stay so close to her through this has been both beautiful and heartbreaking. They know something is wrong

We have done everything we can to try and save her we have spent every dollar we have and would do it again and again in a heart beat but there is no money left. Between emergency visits, testing, treatment to remove fluid from around her lungs and heart and the medications she now needs several times a day just to keep fluid from building again, the have added up faster than we ever could have imagined. Our children are beyond devastated. She is only 5 years old and still has so much love to give. We are doing everything we can to keep her stable and give her the best chance possible at a life but the ongoing vet care and medication costs are overwhelming. I don't want to fail her we don't know what else to do. If you can help at all… anything is everything right now, even just sharing this.
