Support Lucy's Family After Tragic Loss

Dear Family, Friends, and Community,

It is with a heart broken beyond words that we share the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved sister, Shirley; affectionately known to us all as Lucy. Her life was taken far too soon due to unexpected internal bleeding. Despite the tireless efforts of her being transferred from one hospital to another by helicopter and the medical team in the ICU doing everything they can to save her, the rapid loss of blood which caused her blood pressure to not be at a level for her to get the surgery that she needed. In a matter of hours, our world changed forever for the worse.

Lucy was more than a sister; she was a radiant light in our lives. Her laughter was contagious, her love unconditional, and her spirit full of warmth and compassion. She touched the hearts of everyone who knew her, and the void she leaves behind is indescribable. The pain of this loss is almost too much to bear.

As we face the unbearable sorrow of losing Lucy, we are also confronted with the heavy financial burden of laying her to rest. Lucy did not have life insurance, and the costs associated with her funeral are more than our family can carry alone.

We are humbly reaching out to our extended family, dear friends, and the caring community around us. Whether it’s through a financial contribution, a prayer, or words of comfort, your support means more than we can ever express. Every single gesture, no matter the size, is a step toward giving Lucy the loving farewell she so deeply deserves.
