This is Lucy (aka Lucy Goose/Lucy Goosey/Goose)! Lucy is 4 years old and came into my life this past December. When I got her, I learned that she had been a neglected. My first step was to get her to her very first vet appointment. When I took her, I learned that she was malnourished and undersized, had never been spayed, and was covered in fleas. Most notably, I learned her right ear had a hematoma caused by an untreated ear infection. I got antibiotics to treat it, but the mass remained. The vets now know that it had solidified and will continue blocking her ear canal, causing chronic infections. Unfortunately, Lucy's only option remaining is an amputation of the outer and middle ear. The final consultation today gave me an estimate of $4500. I want to make sure my Goose can avoid a dangerous infection, hear to the best of her ability, and live her best life!

The funds raised will be used to pay for the operation and post-op care. Any leftover funds will be donated to Humane Society of Hamilton County.
