Help with Lucy’s Final Arrangements

Dear Friends and Family,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your support for our incredible friend, Lucy. At 49 years old, she has already shown immense courage and strength by surviving colon cancer. Now, she is facing an even more daunting challenge with a diagnosis of stage 4 cervical cancer.

Currently, Lucy is in the hospital battling a severe infection caused by an abscess that has worsened due to her cancer. Her body is extremely weak, and she’s struggling to maintain a healthy weight, currently only 87 lbs. Despite the doctors' best efforts, she is on antibiotics to combat the infection and is also being treated for a bowel obstruction that prevents her from keeping any food down.

Given her previous cancer treatments and her body’s current condition, surgery and radiation are no longer viable options for treating her cancer. The immediate goal is to resolve the bowel obstruction so she can regain enough strength to undergo another round of chemotherapy. This round of chemo is critical for freezing the cancer and providing her with a chance for recovery.

Lucy has always been a very generous and selfless person, willing to give the shirt off her back to those in need. She has touched countless lives with her kindness and support. Now, we want to give back and help her continue her life as healthy and as peaceful as possible.
