Hi, my name is Athena, and this is for my pup, my best friend, and truly my first baby Lucy.

Lucy is eight years old and I’ve had her since she was just 12 weeks old. She’s my first dog and the dog I wished for my entire childhood. For as long as I can remember every birthday wish I made was for a dog, and then Lucy came into my life and changed everything.

Recently, Lucy tore her ACL and it’s been heartbreaking watching her struggle to walk and do the things she loves. The surgery she needs to walk comfortably again is estimated to cost between $4000 and $8000, which is more than I can manage on my own.

Lucy is still so young at heart, and all I want is for her to have the best quality of life possible.
