Lucy and Chris Rudeau are the owners of Timber Valley Tree Farm in Fredon. Between visitors to The Gift Shop, friends made during flower planting workshops and the Christmas season, they bring so much joy and happiness to the community. They are always willing and ready to help when needed, and now it is our turn to help them.

In November of 2024, Lucy was diagnosed with colon cancer. She has had three major surgeries in addition to chemotherapy, emergency room visits, hospital stays and numerous doctor's appointments. With her final surgery completed this week, she is on the road to recovery. However, the treatments may be done, the side effects are still present, along with needing carpal tunnel surgery on both hands after healing. During this time, her husband Chris has had foot surgery and has an upcoming gall bladder removal.

All donations will be used to help ease the burden of mounting medical bills. The family thanks everyone for the love and support while Lucy and Chris have been dealing with everything life has thrown their way. Now it's time to get them over the finish line so they can move forward with health and happiness.
