Support Lucy Bella's Medical Journey

Our beloved Lucy Bella was born in March with a super rare congenital birth defect called bilateral anophthalmia. This means Lucy was born without eyes. You read that right; she was born without eyes. You may already know of baby Lucy Bella; if not, you can follow her journey on Instagram #skaggbaggs92.

Genetic testing showed that Lucy has a sox2 mutation which is the cause of Lucy’s condition. Lucy’s future is uncertain as she may face other difficulties such as seizures, delayed walking and other unknowns.

Amazingly enough, after naming her Lucy, we learned Saint Lucy is the patron saint of the blind! What a sign y’all!!

Lucy needs medical treatment that will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not more, over the course of her childhood and beyond. So many of Lucy’s followers have been so helpful with information and recommendations, which is how Lucy actually found her ocularist.
