Luc is a remarkable 20-year-old junior at the University of South Carolina. Known by everyone he meets for his kindness, compassion, strength, and intelligence, Luc has always been a dedicated student and friend. With a perfect 4.0 GPA, he is working tirelessly toward his dream of becoming a veterinarian so he can continue his lifelong passion for helping others—both people and animals alike.

On Saturday, October 25, while on his way to cheer on the Gamecocks, Luc was tragically struck by a train. Miraculously, he survived. He is currently in the hospital, preparing for major reconstructive surgery and facing a long road to recovery.

Luc’s family has been by his side, offering unwavering love and support as he begins this long journey toward recovery. However, they now face significant financial challenges—from mounting medical bills to ongoing travel expenses as they remain close to him during his treatment.
