Help Save a Life <3

Lucrecia is a sassy 3 year old (WOW! So young!) bearded dragon and she is my whole HEART . She is my loving companion and emotional support animal. I've had the honor and privilege of being her mami for the past 1.5 yrs and she has been an immense light in my life.

She is a curious cat and is always looking for an adventure with mom! She enjoys eating her buggies (she's not a big salad girly smh), spending time outside in her play pen, stroller rides in the sun, and of course, volunteering and stealing hearts at the Barrios Unidos food pantry.

Within the last couple of months, Lucrecia has gotten quite sick ): She hasn't been acting like her "full of life" self. Upon taking a trip to the vet, it was discovered she is suffering from follicular stasis (egg yolks sitting in her ovaries). This has caused an infection, which has seeped into her lungs and is now also causing her upper respiratory problems and shortness of breath. Her vet has determined that the best course of action moving forward is to perform a surgery to remove her reproductive system. This surgery is to ensure that she doesn't continue to encounter life-threatening reproductive challenges moving forward. She is currently on antibiotics until her surgery can be scheduled.

I and her (cat) brother, Raulito, love her very very much. We're humbly reaching out to the community for support in trying to cover the funds for her surgery.

This surgery will help her lead a long, strong, and healthy life.
