Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Souls,

I am reaching out to share the incredible story of a brave little dog that I found on the highway, and to ask for your support in helping him on his journey to health and happiness.

Just a few weeks ago, I spotted this precious one-and-a-half-year-old pup dodging cars on an extremely busy highway in Texas. After some coaxing and a lot of love, I was able to rescue him. His spirit is unbroken, despite the hardship he’s faced. I called a bunch of places in hopes someone could help, but the state of Texas told me to put him back where I found him. BUT THAT WAS NOT AN OPTION FOR US. I got him medical attention and brought him back home to make sure he was okay.

Unfortunately, this sweet dog has been diagnosed with heartworm, and treatment starts today. The road to recovery will be long and challenging, but we are committed to doing everything we can to ensure he gets the care he needs. After his heartworm treatment the doctor says he needs a surgery to fix his hernia and to remove some pre cancerous baby teeth which is why we need the additional support. He deserves a chance at a happy and healthy life, and I will not give up on him.
