Hey guys, some bad news about my cat Lucki. He was recently diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a serious heart condition that requires ongoing treatment and monitoring. In addition he has a mass on his neck that may require surgery, depending on the outcome of further testing scheduled for next week. Unfortunately, this procedure could be life-threatening.

Lucki is currently stable with medications but his condition requires routine follow ups with both his primary veterinarian and a cardiologist. He needs X-Rays and Echo routinely to monitor his health.

So far, the costs for urgent care, initial vet visits, and medications have totaled to $2,000. With more appointments and potential surgery, his medical expenses are expected to increase significantly. While I am doing my best to manage these costs while attending school and working two jobs, the financial burden is becoming increasingly difficult to handle on my own.
