My name is Lucille Alvarez, and I am a retired public school teacher with 48 years of service. Throughout my life, I have been grateful for the opportunity to educate and support so many wonderful students and families.

Today, I find myself humbly asking for your help.

I am currently battling severe arthritis and pulmonary fibrosis. I require ongoing infusion therapy treatments to manage my condition. Unfortunately, these treatments have become far too costly for me to afford on my fixed retirement income. Without continuing these treatments, my doctor has shared that my prognosis is extremely serious.

It is very difficult for me to ask for assistance, but at this time, I truly need the support of my community. Any donation—no matter how small—will go directly toward covering my infusion therapy treatments and giving me the precious gift of more time.
