Support Lucille- Our Cafe Coffee Lady

Good afternoon. This is Teresa Orive, FO on the Airbus. I wanted to reach out to our Pilot group and FedEx family because Lucille, who has been our coffee lady in the middle of the night for the last 20 years, has become very ill. She had a stroke and found out that she has stage four lung cancer, that has sadly, spread to her brain. She is going through treatment and will not be able to work and her daughter is taking off to be with her now.

She was always a hard worker, making sure that we had fresh coffee and popcorn, working extra on the weekends and holidays. Lucille was always busy keeping the café area neat and clean. She has taken care of us for many years, so I’m hoping that we can help her now. Any donation would be much appreciated.
