Hi, everyone!
My name is Lucien Dao, and I am currently a 3rd-year student at UC Berkeley, studying Molecular and Cellular Biology. My passion for medicine and healthcare has influenced me to join Volunteers for Medical Outreach (VMO), a non-profit, UC Berkeley student organization focused on providing medical services to underserved populations in Vietnam.
VMO strives to make medical assistance more accessible in these rural areas of Vietnam by providing free medical services, check-ups, mobile clinics, and Hepatitis-B vaccination clinics. Throughout the year, we fundraise to buy all of the supplies/medicine needed for these services and to pay for corrective surgeries for those in need of financial assistance.
I'm very grateful to announce that this summer, I'll be traveling with the organization on its annual Vietnam trip, aiding in providing free medical resources and services to disadvantaged communities. The money raised through this donation page will be going towards the supplies, travel, and housing expenses. Every donation is appreciated, and thank you so much for the support!
