Last year, in June 2025, Lucia was diagnosed with stage 3 metastatic breast cancer. Since then, it has been an ongoing battle—not just against the disease itself, but also to afford the care she needs and the basic necessities that keep her going. Every day has brought new challenges, from medical appointments and treatments to the stress of making sure there’s enough for housing, food, and bills. Lucia has shown incredible strength and resilience, fighting for more time and more memories with her 18-year-old son and family. She has completed chemotherapy, but the journey isn’t over yet. She still faces radiation therapy, another surgery, and ongoing treatments that are essential for her recovery. The emotional and physical toll has been heavy, and the financial burden has made this road even more difficult. The funds raised here will help cover Lucia’s living expenses, remaining surgery costs, radiation therapy, and necessary medications. This support will ease the financial strain and allow us to focus on what matters most—her healing and well-being.
