Dear friends and family,

Namaste.

I am writing this update to let you all know how I am, to thank you so much for all your generous contributions to my medical fund and for your thoughts, prayers, and meditations for my optimal health. I had been away for treatments and am now back home regrouping. In addition to appointments, tests, treatments, and protocols, I am getting set up with new routines for my healing. I am proceeding with an incredible team and am positive about the healing path that I am on.

In the past, I have spent much time taking care of others, though I neglected to take care of myself. This situation that I find myself in, has been a wake up call - my body telling me it needs my caring attention to reestablish balance and harmony within. In my next steps, I will be meeting with my doctor along with my daughter so that we can set up medical equipment for treatments that she can administer to me as an RN and medical professional. In fact, she has attended all my appointments either in person, on Zoom, or by telephone, as a second set of ears which has been quite helpful in processing so much information. I am learning very much about myself and the real causes of dis-ease. I am feeling blessed to have such a loving community as you. Thank you. I appreciate your continued generosity as I prepare to purchase some much-needed equipment and scripts for my care. I am full of gratitude for all you have provided and continue to provide to me. A Letter from Lucia

Greetings all,

Firstly, I want to thank you all for your healing prayers, encouraging words and generous donations. I am away thanks to your help, receiving much needed healing therapies with a number of medical professionals and others who seek optimal health. The therapies I am receiving have been strengthening and cleansing my body and have a very positive response by my body’s cells. In addition, by creating an inhospitable environment, I have been cleansing out the tumor cells. I will continue to need your financial support once I return home. As I need additional therapies, doctor’s visits, and more. My insurance does not cover all that I need, so I ask that you please spare what you can to help. I look forward to seeing you again soon.

When our mom, sister, daughter and friend, Lucia Ferrante received a positive diagnosis of breast cancer, we understood that there would be physical, emotional, and financial challenges that lie ahead on her healing journey. It is for this reason that we ask that you please consider donating to this important effort to raise funds for her medical expenses at this crucial time. Lucia’s allopathic doctors, have approved a trip to work with one of the leading nutritionists in the country. We have a goal to meet with immediacy to save her spot at the upcoming Health and Nutrition Retreat which would not only support Lucia's healing journey immensely, but also give her more knowledge to support herself on her wellness path. Since the retreat begins on September 8th, 2024, we must raise funds as soon as possible, to secure her spot and book her transportation. We must emphasize the immediacy of this need.

Lucia has provided selfless support to her family, friends, and community, always lending a hand, and giving of herself and her time - from feeding the community at Woodstock Vital Foods, and at Little Hollow Family Farm, where she starts seedlings in the semilleros, cares for and harvests organic vegetables, and runs the farm kitchen, supporting her children's efforts, and bringing endless delights to the table, to volunteering on the Friends of the Woodstock Library board where she served as president and trustee for many years, and as an American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) volunteer, to educating the children as a tutor, science teacher, special educator, and homeschool parent, contributing greatly to the local homeschooling community.

We greatly appreciate your healing thoughts and financial support throughout her journey. Lucia’s financial necessities are of a timely matter. Please help us get Lucia to the upcoming health and nutrition retreat so that she can gain the wealth of knowledge it will provide, as well as help to pay for accumulating medical expenses.
