My name is Andrea, and I’m organizing this fundraiser to support my dear friend Maria Lucero Duarte , a single mother to Heidy (12) and Botis (11). Maria Lucero has always been a loving, supportive, and strong mom, working tirelessly to provide for her children and ensure they have everything they need. Her dedication and selflessness have always inspired those around her, and she’s the kind of person who puts her family first, no matter the circumstances.

Recently, Maria Lucero received the devastating news that she has breast cancer. She is scheduled for major surgery on July 24, and this diagnosis has turned her world upside down. Maria Lucero has had to stop working, and the financial strain of medical bills, daily expenses, and preparing her children for the upcoming school year has become overwhelming. Despite these challenges, Lucero remains focused on her children’s well-being, but the stress of keeping up with rent, food, and essential needs is taking a toll.

This fundraiser is to help Maria Lucero cover her medical bills, rent, and back-to-school items for Heidy and Botis.
