Hello everyone,

My family and I are raising funds to support my grandmother’s neighborhood in Lucea, Hanover, Jamaica, which was devastated by Hurricane. Melissa. The community is made up mostly of elderly residents who have lost most of their homes, food, and have no access to clean water and are without power. Loss of key infrastructures such as supermarkets and hospitals have also impacted the residents’ ability to easily recover. Over 5,000 local residents in my grandmother’s neighborhood currently have no access to essential resources such as transportation due to the severe road damage.
