Hello! My name is Lucas Martinez, and I am a Senior Film Major at the Columbus College of Art and Design. This posting is dedicated for my Capstone Thesis project, which is a short, thriller/mystery film adapted from an article of the Secure, Contain, Protect (SCP) Foundation (specifically SCP-1562).

Filming will be done in Columbus, Ohio at a local playground, lasting for a week in February 2026. The final film will be completed and releasing in May 2026, and will be first screened at the Columbus College of Art & Design.

The synopsis for the film is as follows: A slide at a playground is causing children to go missing, and a police investigation yields no results and proves how dangerous the slide truly is. A mysterious foundation is recommended to be brought over to investigate instead, however, testing by the foundation also yields no results. Testing may have to be suspended until further notice.

All funding will be exclusively used for this project! This would include gear, locations/sets, cast, an original score, food, props, wardrobe, post-production, etc. Any amount donated would be greatly appreciated, it means more to me than you could imagine!
