Last fall I was accepted to study abroad with the Rotary Youth Exchange program. In January I learned I will be spending my junior year of high school in Brazil. I'm excited to learn Portuguese, experience a different culture, learn about myself. One purpose of the exchange program is to foster international understanding, goodwill, and peace.

In addition to the costs of spending a year abroad, there are three optional excursions to go to other places throughout the country. For example, one excursion is camping in the Amazon Rainforest. Although my parents are paying for my year of study, it's my responsibility to save money and raise funds to go on the additional adventures. With your help, I hope to make this happen. In return, I will personally share this experience with you!

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. I sincerely thank you for considering supporting my year abroad.
