Final Expenses for Lucas Smith

Hello, my name is Lynette Hall. My 16-year-old son, Lucas Smith, was hit by a car while riding bikes with his friend and little brother. It was a hit and run because the lady that hit him just drove off, leaving my son unconscious on the side of the road. Lucas was flown by helicopter to Roanoke Memorial Hospital. As of right now, he's in a coma and has a broken left leg. In addition to that, he has a major brain injury which has caused swelling to the whole brain. That's all we know as of right now, all they are saying is that it's touch and go for right now.

Lucas does have medical insurance. However, we are going to have to be going back and forth to Roanoke almost every day and that's a lot of gas. We will also try to stay in a hotel up that way as much as possible so hotel rooms are going to be costly too. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated. Even if all you can give is a prayer, that's perfectly fine because we need all the prayers we can get. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and sent their prayers. God bless you all.
