Support Lucas' Fight: Brain Surgery Relief

Lucas is a young, active 8-year-old boy who loves soccer, playing flag football, mountain biking, and hiking with his dog Leo. Lucas started having intermittent headaches, nausea, and vomiting. Multiple doctor and urgent care visits left Lucas' parents with answers like "allergies" and "maybe a pulled muscle." Ashley's and Ryan's worst fears were about to come true.

Ashley and Ryan's son Lucas was diagnosed with a brain tumor on his brain stem and hydrocephalus (too much cerebrospinal fluid on the brain). He is currently in surgery today (12/5) to resect his brain tumor. After the diagnosis, Lucas was life-flighted to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia, where neurosurgeons will fight to save his life.
